Pitched-Up Presentation Coaching
Outline and course objectives
How Pitched-Up will help and who it is aimed at:
It is to provide companies and people who are seeking investment, business partners, channels or funding in the UK, European or N. American markets to prepare their presentations in professional business English.
The advantage is to prepare the entrepreneurs, businessmen and start-ups to perform pitches with a greater chance of being accepted and in a better, more confident and fluid style.
This applies both to the business English necessary to perform a pitch that will be clearly understood and appreciated by the audience, as well as the type and quality of the presentation used.
Reason: UK , European & N. American companies, have a different approach and psychology, and look for different points in presentations and plans that are important in getting their attention.
To improve your chances of ensuring that your audience are excited by what you have to say.
The course will provide the opportunity to do a “trial run” of a particular presentation already planned to overseas companies, to highlight the good points and areas where additional preparation might be useful.
The course director will give personal help to all participants.
It is also unique moment for networking with other entrepreneurs and to find potential synergies or economies of resources by creating a “co-operative” approach to development or go to market strategy.
What it isn’t.
It is NOT an English lesson. English will be the language of the course; if anyone has difficulty in understanding then we may divide the course into 2, to enable participants and their teams to be able to proceed at a pace they are comfortable with.
It is NOT a course on how to build a business plan. Naturally part of the course will be providing additional help and advice on how best to prepare the presentation to pitch with.
It is NOT designed to write a financial forecast; or business plan. These are a separate courses. However participants in Pitched-Up will be able to share their plans and obtain feedback and advice on how to maximize the way expectations are written so that the audience will quickly be able to appreciate the quality and depth of the preparation and be excited by the idea.
What the participant will obtain: Scope and results
End of course networking event and cocktails.
Both the “before” and “after” sessions and presentations will be filmed and copies given to the participants. All course notes, handouts and documentation will be made available.
