Lightstreamer, a push streaming data technology provider has asked ConnexionsItaly to renew a venture that first started in 2005, to help them in their rapid expansion, carrying out the sales process for new clients. ConnexionsItaly was re-contacted due to our experience in financial systems technology combined with commercial and marketing expertise. Our direct involvement with Lightstreamer in the past has meant that we are up to speed and progressing the sales pipeline as new potential customers ask for information. The technology is used across many applications requiring true real-time data push.

The Connexions brand expands to Iberia.

ConnexionsIberia is launched through collaboration with a close business associate based in the region with extensive commercial and business experience in the financial markets sector and other areas. This additional territorial coverage means that Spain, Portugal and their markets are now able to make use of the commercial, marketing and business skills that Connexions teams bring. Therefore companies wishing or needing to enter or expand into the S. European markets, can now rely on a single entity to provide a complete sales, marketing and business development service.

ConnexionsItaly completes design and detailed content of “Pitched Up” ™ a new coaching course in Business Presentation Skills.

The course is designed for start-ups, entrepreneurs and SME’s needing to approach international customers, partners and funding sources. Following involvement with local companies in Italy looking for funding for innovation, it is apparent many companies need to look to International sources. Therefore business plans and presentations need tailoring to suit different approaches to assessing the investment potential of a new company or raising additional financing. David’s long experience and expertise in giving presentations and public speaking, means he can help in simple business English those companies who need it. Courses are now planned for Bio-Tech companies in September and October 2010.
